I\n was shaking. Timothy had just come to my door informing me that CPS \n(Social Services) had just shown up at our front door. I frantically \ncalled my husband (who had just gone down the road to help my dad on his\n new house). He came flying home…not sure what my “emergency” was. \nOnce he was home, I went outside to meet them. First of all, I thanked \nthem for their service to help MANY children who are TRULY abused. And \nthen, we willingly opened up our home and RV and children to their \nscrutiny. Oh yes, we also called our Christian lawyer. \ud83d\ude0a <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n I KNEW as soon as they showed up at our door, it was due to our “hate \nfollowers”. You see, these are people that HATE Jesus and anyone that \nactively is a testimony for Him. They HATE righteousness and proclaim \nit as fanatical. They HATE that we have a large family and are raising \nthem for God. They HATE that we boldly proclaim what God’s Word says \nabout child bearing and sodomy and… well, all manner of sin. They \nsimply – HATE. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We were kind to the social workers and even sang\n for them before they left. They left, telling us that we needed to \ncome to their houses to show them how to organize and keep a clean \nhouse. I even gave the woman social worker a hug. \u2764 They found food in our cupboards and running water…imagine that! LOL. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n You see, when my husband and I were teenagers, we were SUPER skinny. \nWe BOTH got teased all the time about it. We BOTH had very fast \nmetabolisms. We BOTH ate well, but would gain weight slowly. (If only \nwe still had that problem…LOL). Our children take after us…tall and\n willowy. If anyone saw our grocery bill on a weekly basis, they would \nknow how WELL our children are fed! \ud83d\ude01\n However, in a day and age in America were obesity is becoming an \nincreasing problem and children no longer play hard outdoors…our \nchildren are becoming the minority. \ud83d\ude22\n Our Pediatrician Doctor regularly does well check visits on our \nchildren and finds them ALL in the range of “normal”with weight. \nImagine that! NO, WE DON’T STARVE OUR CHILDREN AND ANYONE THAT WOULD DO\n SUCH A HEINOUS THING, BELONGS BEHIND BARS! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The social workers \ncould see through the accusations as hateful people attacking our \nfamily. However, we have suffered at the hand of this 2 different \ntimes. \ud83d\ude2d\n Both times, it seemed a waste of time that they were even at our \nhome…and they agreed. They also agreed that continued future visits \nwould be legally viewed as harrassment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, having them \nshow up at my door, rocked my world. I couldn’t understand it. We try \nSO hard to be the best and most diligent parents possible. To Love. To\n Nurture. To Care. To Feed. To Cook. To Snuggle. To Read to them. \nTo Teach. But MOST importantly, to teach them of Jesus and His \nways…**BINGO** therein lies the problem with our hate followers! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n While singing in Florida, we were right in the middle of a song, my \nhusband was asked (by a member of the church) to come outside. I didn’t\n know why my husband left. My guess was that our RV was parked in a \nwrong spot and had to be moved. Afterwards I found out it was a few \npolice men that had been “tipped” to our location and lies were told \nthem. They came to check out our RV…to make sure it was “kosher” to \ntheir standard for our children. Of course, my husband freely let them \ntour it (for we have nothing to hide). They found nothing wrong and \nsighed with this “lead” being a sheer “waste of their time”. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\nYes, I shed tears…because the battle is real! I shed tears over the \ninjustice of it all. I pray for protection over our family. We have \nhad death threats sent to us and constant hate mail. The hateful lies \nbeing spread about our family viciously swirl about. I feel alone. \nConfused. Hurt. Helpless. And then, God wraps His loving arms of \ncomfort about me \/ us and reminds us of these Scriptures from the \nBible…<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Matthew 5:11 ” Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n 11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and \nshall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
12\n Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for\n so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
13 Ye are\n the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith \nshall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast \nout, and to be trodden under foot of men.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a \ncandlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n You see, this form of persecution is nothing new. They did FAR worse \nto my Jesus and in our modern day world, Christians suffer far worse \nthan what we have experienced. We MUST count it all joy!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Satan \nWANTS us to give up. To be silent. To take DOWN our social media \ninfluence. He will strive, at whatever means necessary, to make that \nhappen…just like he attacked Job in the Bible. He doesn’t play fair. \n <\/p>\n\n\n\n
1 Peter 5:8 “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary \nthe devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may \ndevour:”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Does it hurt to have all manner of evil spoken against \nus FALSELY? Sure it does…especially when you know it’s simply NOT \ntruth. But, yet, it’s an HONOR! An HONOR to suffer these things for \nthe cause of Christ. You see, people are the same as they’ve always \nbeen. Without Christ, they are lost, hopeless, miserable and seeking to\n destroy others. They do not experience that river of peace and joy \ndeep within their soul. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
So, as the tears rolled down my cheeks,\n I made a choice. A choice to pray for these people. To pray for their\n salvation. To pray for God to bless them as the Bible teaches below…<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Luke 6:27 “But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
28 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
32 For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them. 33 And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same. \n 34 And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have \nye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again. 35 \nBut love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing \nagain; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of \nthe Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. 36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\n I don’t personally know these people, but I know this… I have \nchosen to love them and to pray for them. Yes, I will put up guards to \nprotect our family from evil people, yet love and pray for them from \nafar. <3 <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n What battle are YOU facing? If it is a consequence of your own sin and\n poor choices, then own up to it. Rise in the victory of Christ and \npress onward! You can do it! Remember, NO ONE is perfect except for \nGod Himself. Don’t let defeat overtake you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Or perhaps you are \nlike us in this situation. Feeling helpless in the face of false \naccusations and lies coming from evil, hateful people. REST those cares\n in God’s capable hands. He is able. He is our defense. The TRUTH \nwill prevail…just like it did with the Old Testament Bible story of \nJoseph. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Psalm 3:4 “I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah. 5 I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me. 6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselvesagainst me round about.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
