We do have exciting news that will be officially announced via our Facebook page on Monday- July 1, 2019. But for now, we wanted to bring you “up to date” on our recent “happenings” and wish you all a HAPPY SUMMER!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I cannot believe it was 20 years ago today that God blessed us with this BEAUTIFUL person…inside and out. Nurie, you LITERALLY bring us NOTHING but joy! We are blessed BEYOND measure to call YOU our daughter! HAPPY 20TH BIRTHDAY! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Early Easter dinner yesterday…Saturday. 40 people here. Happy Resurrection Sunday! Hallelujah! He is RISEN! (30 of the 32 cousins were here. We are missing Levi Moravek and Timothy Rodrigues \ud83d\ude41). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am SUPER pleased with Nurie’s hard work ethic. She bought herself a sewing machine and (without any help from me) taught herself to sew. Check out these Easter dresses she made for 5 of her younger sisters. Also, she added material on the bottom of Renee’s skirt to make it longer. Didn’t she do a great job? Thanks, Nurie. You provided beautiful Easter dresses for our girls! You are such a blessing! Love ya, Honey. Hugs, Mama <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What a blessing it was to attend Crossroads (Made With Love) Annual Fundraising Banquet last night. \ud83d\ude0a We LOVE volunteering at this Pro-Life Pregnancy Center. \u2764 We have come to love these folks we work with. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wow! This was me (Jill) holding my baby Timothy…19 years ago (Pictured below)! \ud83d\ude2f Time sure does fly! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moms, raise up those children for the glory of God. If we raise them up JUST to “have a good life” (and of course that is what we hope and want for them), but without the focus on them living a passionate life for Jesus, then we are investing no more into our children that we do a dog or animal. Yes, we feed, nourish, cherish, and put a roof over their heads and clothes on their backs. BUT…our ultimate goal should go MUCH deeper than that. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This world has a VERY strong pull towards evil. Protect, train, and warn them while they are young to put on their guard. Teach that satan is as a rouring lion….seeking whom he may devour. The battle is real. Put on the WHOLE armour of God that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. ~ Jill<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LOVED going on errands with these munchkins. We had SO much fun together. I am a blessed Mama. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These 2 little sweeties LOVE to play with their dollies. I think they did a great job in coming up with a “make-shift” stomach pouch…don’t you? LOL. \ud83d\ude01\ud83d\udc96<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n In a world infiltrated with social media, electronics,TV, etc. we need \nto (as mothers) make sure our children are learning to be creative with \ntheir minds. Play wholesome. Play dolls. Build forts. Cook. Sew. \nPaint. Etc. Turn OFF those electronics and encourage creativity. \ud83d\ude0a\ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Studying to speak at a Ladies Meeting in New York with this little pumpkin’s soft breathing next to me. Oh, my heart! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a WONDERFUL day at the Ladies Meeting in New York – “OWL” Live For Jesus! Thank you, Mrs. Burdick for all your hard work and for the HONOR of inviting us! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have been NY friends with Emily Woollett for years. It was an honor that while we were in NY, she asked us to be a part of her special, home school graduation. Congratulations, Emily! Love, The Rodrigues Family <\/p>\n\n\n\n

P.S. It was also a blessing to minister yesterday at Maranatha Baptist Church in Mayville, NY. What precious people! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am blessed to have such a wonderful Mom who raised me up for the glory of God. For Mother’s Day, we took my Mom out to honor her. Nurie went with us and took me out. I am one blessed lady! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What an honor it is to have been asked by Mrs. Judy Edmunds to take over the Annual Ladies Retreat held in Sugarcreek, Ohio at the Carlisle Inn each March. This is in the heart of beautiful Amish country and FILLED to the brim with beautiful gift shops and loads of things to do. Judy has been doing this retreat now for 19 years and due to fragile health conditions, felt that she needed to pass the torch on to someone else. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Praise the Lord for this incredible opportunity! I have had a burden to encourage my fellow sisters in Christ since I was a teenager and this opportunity is SUCH an answer to prayer! I already have several facets of ministry (ministering to my sisters in Christ), and this opportunity expands that. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In fact, some of you may remember that a year and a half ago I even planned my own Ladies’ Retreat at Stonewall Jackson Resort in West Virginia. However, rather than continuing to build that up from scratch, I will now channel all my energy into this retreat. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

***See pics below of the GORGEOUS resort this ladies retreat will be held at! We are expecting such a large crowd of ladies, that we booked the ENTIRE hotel (except for one room that was already reserved)! God is GOOD!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kaylee, we are SO proud of you! At our church, they kindly recognized Kaylee’s upcoming high school graduation from Rodrigues Family High School. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kaylee has been SO diligent in her studies and we are TRULY honored to call her our daughter. She is kind, giving, humble and SO honoring to David and I. She loves God with her WHOLE heart and seeks to please Him in all that she does. We are excited to see what God is going to do with Kaylee’s future. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is important to find those simple moments in nature to just enjoy your children and the wonderment they experience. This creek (in Ohio) was one of those beautiful moments. I enjoyed it too. \ud83d\ude01\ud83d\ude0a <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My Plexus business continues to go great! I am SO thankful for the sustaining health and energy these products give me, my family and others!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guess what?? I just got my **FREE** iPad yesterday! I have to say I am SUPER excited that God allowed me to accomplish this AMAZING March goal in Plexus! What a GENEROUS company I work for! WHOO-HOO!! ~ Jill <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What an amazing weekend it was at the HEAV Homeschool Convention in Richmond, VA! Our faith has been encouraged AND…we got to meet Kirk Cameron! What an honor! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What an AMAZING day it was on June 8th!! Kaylee graduated from Rodrigues Family Homeschool. It was a bittersweet day. Kaylee, we love you and are SO proud of your extreme diligence on your schoolwork! It has been a JOY teaching you. Forever With Love, Daddy and Mama <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Kaylee’s Graduation, Scott MacIntyre, (former American Idol Season 8- star) was the speaker. He has been blind since birth, plays the piano beautifully and has had 2 kidney transplants. \ud83d\ude2f\ud83d\ude2e He is also married and has a precious little boy. His story is a MIRACLE! It made us cry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are thrilled he is a Christian that gave a clear plan of salvation at the graduation. It was an honor to meet him and get a quick pic with him on our way to present Kaylee her diploma. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
