These Blog Posts are going to diminish! Please look at our VIDEO button to watch video updates on our family & ministry.

Greetings, friends. As you have noticed, these blog posts have become less frequent. Our ministry continues to grow, as does our family through marriages and grandbabies. Life seems to get busier and busier. We are pretty faithful in posting NEW YouTube videos which we add to this website in the video tab. Please enjoy catching updates of our family and ministry there. You can also follow us on our Facebook and Instagram accounts at- David Jill Noyes Rodrigues. We do daily, family/ministry updates there.

Thank you for your faithful financial and prayer support of our ministry. Our printing ministry continues to grow and we have now printed MILLIONS of Gospel Tracts….all for the glory of God and to propagate His blessed truth of the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ! To God be the glory, great things HE hath done!

We also continue to travel to sing, David preach and present our Printing Ministry.

It is rewarding, yet hard to watch our home slowly empty as our children grow up and start their own lives. Yet, we have NO greater JOY than to hear that our children walk in truth.

We love and appreciate you all!

In His Service, David & Jill Rodrigues

Happy New Year – 2024!

*Read all about what we have been up to this past Fall and early Winter!

Dear Family & Friends & VALUED Supporters,                                                                      Dec./Jan./Feb. 2024

Happy New Year – 2024!  The time keeps ticking…..tik, Tok, tik, Tok.  We know our time is short to serve Jesus here on earth.  So, it is with FERVOR that we continue to extend ourselves to exhaustion to continue to print, cut, collate, stitch and cut again, box, and ship millions of Smiley Gospel Tracts and now thousands of John & Romans with the Gospel in the front of them.  In the midst of it all, we manage to keep up our travels to churches that request meetings with our family.  We enjoy singing together and always feel a loss when one of our children grow up and leave our singing group. However, we have NO greater JOY than to hear that our children walk in truth!  This past Fall, we had over a dozen of churches we traveled to for special meetings.  We are thankful that three of those churches took us on for financial support.  What a blessing!  To purchase the paper, ink, chemicals and parts for the printing presses (to keep them running smoothly) is a big expense.  It is also not cheap to run the electric and heat in our print shop.  We are thankful to watch God provide for us through His generous people.

This past Christmas Season, we enjoyed going to three different police stations and two fire stations to deliver Christmas cookies with thank you notes (for their service) along with Gospel Tracts.  We also sang for them.  It was also a blessing to go Christmas caroling in our neighborhood while giving each home a Gospel Tract and an invite to a Christmas party at our home.  We had lots come, but especially a lot of our Amish neighbors.  They enjoyed it SO much, that they asked us to come and sing for a big Amish event they had.  We are striving to be a light also in our neighborhood and encourage them to look inward to be sure it is not any of their works they are trusting in to get them to Heaven, but ONLY in the shed Blood of Jesus Christ!  Thank God, He was born to die to redeem us from eternal damnation.  What a Saviour!   2024 is already filling up with loads of work for Eternal purposes….but it is rewarding and we would not want to be doing anything else with our time.

We watch our children continue to grow in leaps and bounds and dread the day when our house is quiet with no echoes of little voices filling every nook and cranny of our home.  We don’t mind the spilled milk or the scratched floor.  We LOVE every moment of being parents to each one of our children, and our deepest desire is to see our efforts multiplied as they go forth as arrows and hit their mark.  May they also do MIGHTY things for Jesus, and we will sit back with warmth in our aging hearts, knowing that every effort made, every prayer prayed, every tear shed, every moment of no sleep, every family meal and devotion time… was worth every moment to raise a generation for the cause of Jesus Christ!  Even now, the ones still at home, are storing treasures in Heaven as they help us with SO many facets of our ministry!

With that said, we SAVOR each precious moment with them.

1) Recently, Janessa wanted to pretend to do my makeup.  She commented that she was now going to do my “eyebrowns”!  She also calls eyelashes – “blinks”.

2) Our children love to take bike rides when the weather is nice.  There is a local soda machine nearby and one day they went and got sodas.  Upon arriving back home, they showed me what sodas they had gotten.  Most of them had chosen root beer.  Janessa proclaimed to me, “Beer is my favorite!”  LOL.  Oh, how I cherish the innocence!

3) One Sunday I was not able to attend church due to Janessa & Olivia being sick.  When the family got back home, David told me that our church had the Lord’s Supper that morning.  A bit later, we overheard Sadie telling Olivia that they had done the “Bread & Breakfast”  while at church.

4) When we take our little girls potty in public restrooms, we are VERY particular about guarding against germs and taking precautions to avoid coming in contact with them.  When I was about to put Janessa on a public potty, she asked me,  “Mama, are there Germanson this toilet?”  Oh My!  LOL.

5) Janessa recently proclaimed that she did NOT want to grow up and leave me!  She said she is SO glad that she was born in the Ro g rigues family!  Lastly, she recently saw a moth flying in our house.  She told her siblings, “I saw a muffin flying around.”

6) On Thanksgiving, we had a houseful of Jill’s extended family over.  What a TREAT it was to have them all here for a few days!  Jill’s DEAR sister Amy (who is in a wheelchair as a quadriplegic due to a bad car accident 8 1/2 years ago) was here with her husband and their six children.  We all had assigned seating for our Thanksgiving Feast.  I had written a tag for Amy’s place setting, and I had written a note next to her name – “Our Role Model”.  Sofia read that and contemplated what it meant.  She explained to her older sister Sadie that Mama had written “role model” by Aunt Amy’s name, because she ROLLS around in a wheelchair and she is a MODEL!  SO precious…..and true!  A new definition of ROLE MODEL” has been made.  LOL.

We LOVE and appreciate each one of you and hope you have a WONDERFUL 2024!

Timothy is ENGAGED; Jill’s new MAGAZINE; Ministry Update! (Oct. 2023)

On October 6, 2023, our son Timothy gloriously engaged his sweet, beautiful fiancé – Heidi.  We are SO happy for them and look forward to what their future holds. Our deepest prayer & desire, is to see God use them as a couple to do mighty things for the cause of Jesus Christ!  Congratulations to the happy couple!
With Love, Dad & Mom Rodrigues
P.S. Heidi did not want a traditional diamond, and she also loves the color green. Isn’t the ring beautiful?! Timothy is such a romantic.   (Pictures below).

To watch their video of their engagement, please click on this link. https://youtu.be/oel43VNQAgo?si=MoaRNTT-LisrjQb-

We have stayed SO busy in the ministry.  Another 250,000 Gospel Smiley Tracts are being printed, cut, collated, stitched, cut (again) and shipped out…….along with SEVERAL thousand other tract orders being fulfilled.  The John and Romans orders are picking up and we are so grateful how busy we stay in our printing ministry.  Along with that, we continue to travel to sing, minister to churches and present our ministry.  It all leads to a VERY busy life!  Did we mention that Phillip is now in his second year of Bible College?  He attends Marietta Bible College and is doing well.  Please make sure to check out our YouTube channel (Jill Rodrigues) for video updates of our family and ministry.

I (Jill) started a quarterly – Make Your Life Count – MAGAZINE!  This was a HUGE step of financial faith.  It will be printed and shipped to all of our subscribers, FREE of cost to them!   Please pray that God would provide for this need.  If you wish to subscribe to this “Rodrigues Family Production” magazine, then please e-mail us to let us know!  It is a magazine designed to encourage Biblical, godly homes.  If you desire to donate to help with the next printing and shipping of the magazine (early 2024), then please also e-mail Jill to ask how to donate to this need.  Thank You!

Thank you for your prayers for our family against the evil darkness of this old world, the devil, and spiritual wickedness in high places. In a world of uncertainty and wars and rumors of wars, we have learned the value of simply living EACH day to its fullest!  To put one foot in front of the next and not to worry about tomorrow….for we know WHO holds the future!  It brings a simple faith, trust and JOY as we walk through a world of uncertainty.  We love each one of you!

All Because of Jesus,  Jill for the Rodrigues Family

Jonathan & Kaylee had premature baby and Jill’s Mom is doing better! (August 2023)

We do have exciting news! Jonathan and Kaylee had a baby boy! I will share the details with you below, as I shared them on Facebook. Also, Jill’s Mom’s brain continues to heal, and we are SO thankful for that! Please read those details below as well!! God bless you all and thank you for your continued prayers for our family and ministry! We finished another 300,000 Gospel Tracts the beginning of July. We have been swamped with printing the Gospel, traveling to sing and present our printing ministry, along with David preaching! God is SO Good to allow us to serve Him full time. We face a LOT of spiritual warfare, but it will be worth it all, when we see Jesus! Please enjoy our updates below……

First Post / Update…

Well, we were at my sister Amy Foster’s house in West Virginia for my parent’s 50th wedding anniversary celebration and the 4th of July, and I woke up to Kaylee shaking me and telling me she was bleeding and having contractions. She is only 32 weeks along. Her official due date was August 28th. So, we went to the hospital, and she was already 5 cm dialated. They are trying to slow down the labor, but to no avail. They gave the baby steroids to strengthen his lungs. Once born, he will probably be in the NICU for a few weeks. We would appreciate the prayers. Thank you. -Jill for us all

Second Update …….

Introducing….-Gideon Daniel Hill (Born 8 weeks early) -Born on July 5th (also Kaylee’s birthday) at 9:17 am. They held off labor as long as possible, but Gideon had plans to be born on his Mama’s birthday and nothing stopped him!

– 4 lbs. 9 Oz. – Kaylee was a trooper and did the entire labor and delivery with no pain meds!

– Gideon is having trouble with his breathing, so they will he transferring him to another hospital with a higher level of NICU care.

– Thank you for your continued prayers. -This baby is already SO loved! God is GOOD!

Third Update….

Even though Gideon was born 2 months early, he is doing AMAZINGLY well at the Akron Children’s Hospital in Akron, Ohio. God is Good! Happy Birthday, Kaylee & Gideon! We love you both SO much! We did a lot of prayers and singing for Gideon, along with the Bible placed on top of his incubator. Philemon 1:6 “That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.”

Fourth Update…..

Kaylee has been doing lots of kangaroo care / skin to skin with Gideon. Kaylee is such a good mom….just like Nurie. I watch them mother their children with a passion, and my heart fills to overflowing! Kaylee is faithfully pumping breastmilk and (other than some IV fluids), that is what they are exclusively feeding Gideon in the NICU. Kaylee or Jonathan often administers his feedings of breastmilk, every 3 hours. Gideon is thriving and doing the best he can for being 8 weeks early! God is SO Good and His natural ways work! Also, Gideon had a good-sized knot in his umbilical cord! The nurse pointed it out and said, “I think that is why God had him born early!” She had heard us praying before he was born. Thank you, Jesus!

Fifth Update…..

I got this text from Kaylee (below). It brings my heart great joy that Jonathan and Kaylee are investing SO much in their precious baby. They are so committed to being there for sweet Gideon. They live right in the room with him and I think that is why he is thriving so much! He sees, smells and hears his Daddy and Mommy 24/7.

From Kaylee….I got the CUTEST pictures of little Gideon looking all around. It was and is soo precious. Jonathan also enjoys holding Gideon and it is sooo sweet. He sings to Him, reads him the Bible, etc. Gideon is always SO CALM and peaceful during these times.

Sixth Update…..

It has been over a week of Kaylee in the hospital with little Gideon. Jonathan has now gone back to work. It is a blessing for J & K to live at the hospital with Gideon. Pray for God to give sweet Kaylee strength as she continues to function on little sleep, deals with some grumpy nurses (lots are amazing, though) and misses home. However, we are THRILLED and rejoicing that God is strengthening Gideon and helping him to thrive! We are thankful for the incredible care of the NICU staff and Kaylee and Jonathan have offered him!

Update from sweet Kaylee…..”There were able to take Gideon completely off of extra oxygen, because He kept doing so well in room air. They said, ‘We like when babies do this good’!”

Seventh Update…..

Last week, I got to hold Gideon for the 1st time. What a GLORIOUS moment it was! He is SO precious and such a little fighter. Kaylee said he rarely cries and is determined to learn how to nurse, breathe, etc. I love him with every fiber of my being!

Gideon is doing AMAZING! I think it is because of Kaylee’s dedication to be by his side to pump, nurse, hold him, sing to him, pray with him, read the Bible to him, etc. She and Jonathan have already proven what incredible parents they are! God is Good! Pray that they can bring him home as soon as it is safe for him.

Eighth Update…..

Gideon is nearly 5 and a half pounds now! His lungs continue to grow and get stronger. His oxygen assistance is almost down to nothing. He is doing great at learning to nurse. Just a couple weeks longer and he may be able to go home! Jonathan and Kaylee cannot wait for that glorious moment!

Ninth Update….

VERY exciting news! After exactly four weeks of being in the NICU, Gideon was discharged!! He is thriving, gaining weight quickly, and his lungs are strong!! Thank you for your prayers! Our hearts are FULL of rejoicing! God is Good! (Pics Below)….

Update on Jill’s Mom….

My parents’ 50th wedding anniversary celebration was on July 3rd (the night before Kaylee went into labor). My mom is doing SO much BETTER!! All of the sudden, she is improving at rapid pace! We are all SO excited and blessed! Please pray she doesn’t get too ambitious, and she fall out of her wheelchair. She has already fallen trying to get up by herself. Please pray for her to get stronger and that she would not get hurt. Thank you for all of your prayers! We are blessed! It is good to talk and laugh with Ma like old times. We are BEYOND grateful for this extra time God has gifted us with to enjoy our precious mother! What an AMAZING example my parents are to have made it to 50 years of marriage! We love them both SO much!!

Well, that is it for now. We hope you enjoyed those updates! God bless you all!

With Love, The Rodrigues Family

Family Updates! – May 2023

Life continues to spin at such a fast rate, we feel we can barely keep up! Our printing ministry continues to grow and we continue to travel, sing, present our ministry, David preaches, etc. etc. We look at these days as cherished and golden years, and we do NOT want to rush by them! As we look at each of our children rapidly growing and entering adulthood (we now have 6 adult children), we are reminded how quickly each phase of life ends as it rapidly merges into the next. To look back at the many memories we have made together OR to look to the future and what it holds…..well, BOTH hold an element of sorrow. Yesterdays are bygones and the future is the meaning of MORE bygones. So, we have learned to focus on – TODAY! To savor each precious moment and cherished memory we are making presently. This is what makes our hearts FULL and thankful.

Please check out our BLOG / VIDEOS portion of our website (or our YouTube Channel) to see a lot more updates through our videos. As for now, though, I will focus on updating on the big news.

After 4 1/2 months of my parents living near and with us, they finally moved back home. It was a sad goodbye, yet we are glad that they can get a new routine at home. We miss them. Video about that here as well……. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=glD3wdXdjmU&t=4s

Thank you for following our journey, supporting our ministry, and loving us. Our goal is – to honor Christ with our lives, make a difference for Eternity and to spread the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ! We love you all and God bless you!! With Care, The Rodrigues Family

David & Jill lost their 14th Baby! February 2023

**Video Below…

My heart is breaking.

Let me explain…In life, we all experience many joyous moments. We gladly share those moments with others, and perhaps we are viewed as having the “perfect life.” Although no one has a perfect life, we should always be grateful for and focus on the many blessings God gives us. However, it is in the tender, broken, grief stricken moments of life that I find myself learning the deepest truth to surrender. Surrender to an ALL knowing and perfect God! When life seems unfair, we can try to make sense of it or simply trust. We can choose one of two responses. BITTERNESS or BLESSED. Blessed in knowing that we can trust a sovereign God. Trust a God that NEVER makes a mistake. It is a beautiful and special moment when through a season of trials in life, we experience a unique blend of a bleeding heart all while finding peace as we yield that same, broken heart to the will of God.

As many of you, I find those moments most tender between the Saviour and I. He is truly a Man of Sorrows, acquainted with my grief. Recently, David and I found out we were expecting baby #14. We were all THRILLED!

Kaylee was so excited to be pregnant together with me. We ALL began to hope, dream, plan and rejoice together. But, those dreams came crashing down when (while in Florida) David rushed me to the ER with many pregnancy complications. We were losing our sweet baby and we all felt numb. Then the tears came.

But oh, what sweet communion that was with my Lord. He collected each of my tears and put them in a bottle. (Psalms 56:8 “Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?”) He saw me rise, shower and go to church and sing in the middle of my pain. He saw me kneel to praise His Name. He saw me serve my family, when all I felt like doing was curling up in bed. He saw our family press forward. When no one else could see my heart aching with sorrow in a church service, HE saw! When I felt that the whole world might not understand my sorrow of losing my 6th baby to miscarriage (due to the fact I already had 13 living children), I knew God understood. Each child God has allowed us to conceive, is a direct gift from Him, even if He chose to take it to Heaven early. You see, nothing goes unnoticed by God! He rewards faithfulness in the midst of our pain. He cares about each detail and He longs for us to run into His arms of grace and comfort. My son in law (Jonathan) kindly reminded me that this baby was in the center of God’s hands and that there was no safer place to be. What a comfort! Please rejoice with us over this life given to us for oh, SO short a time!

-Jill (for us all) Ephesians 1:12 KJV[12] That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.Galatians 6:14 KJV[14] But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. #baby19

Timothy in Courtship!

Praise the Lord! It is official! Timothy has entered a God honoring courtship with Heidi Coverett!!

We are so blessed! I have spent many years, on my knees, BEGGING God to bring a godly mate into Timothy’s life. I love Heidi MORE than words can describe! She is such a sweetheart and has a heart to submit to God and Timothy in the ways of the Lord. Hallelujah! She loves our family and we love her! She is a gem indeed!

Heidi is 19 years old and one of 6 children and her parents are Jeremy Coverett and Ellen Vincent Coverett . They love the Lord and they have homeschooled their children and done an excellent job!

Jeremy is Jonathan Hill (our son in law)’s Mom’s brother. Jeremy is the one that introduced Jonathan and Kaylee to each other. So, it is special that Timothy (in the future) and Kaylee will be married to cousins. Neat!

We love the Coverett Family and they have become VERY dear friends to us!

We love you, Timothy and Heidi, and look forward to how God is going to use you both now and in the future for HIS glory! Hallelujah! Isn’t Heidi’s “courtship, promise ring” that Timothy got her pretty?

Enjoy the pics, and VIDEO below!!

God bless you all and thank you for following the adventures of our family!

Longing To Hear Well Done,  The Rodrigues Family

December Prayer Letter…

Dear Family & Friends,                                                                                       December 2022

What a busy year it has been!  Printing, folding, collating, stitching, cutting, bundling, boxing and shipping over half a million Gospel tracts; traveling to several states to sing, preach and present our printing ministry; serving at Joy Baptist Church (our home church);  planning a Ladies’ Retreat with approximately 180 in attendance; Jill speaking at a few ladies’ meetings; Jill recording 52 weeks of “Make Your Life Count” programs for WVGV radio station;  graduating Phillip from our homeschool and helping him enroll at Massillon Baptist College;  sadly watching Jill’s Mom go through the heart-wrenching journey of brain aneurysm, seizures, broken hip and finally a stroke, which landed her in a rehab / nursing home facility near us; helping them in as many ways as we are able to; enjoying our 25th wedding anniversary trip; planning Kaylee’s wedding and watching her and Jonathan Hill join in Holy Matrimony on November 5th;  celebrating new life as   Nathan & Nurie gave birth to our second grandbaby boy – Newman Christian Keller on November 16, 2022;  and finally, rejoicing with Jonathan & Kaylee as they announced their 1st pregnancy (Kaylee is due August 28, 2023).  It has been a full year that has led us to every facet of emotion…..tears, joy, grief, laughter, exhaustion, rest, etc.  Yet, as we look back, our hearts are full, filled with the goodness of God!

This time of year is a great time to reflect on why we do what we do.  Over 2,000 years ago, Jesus Christ was born and placed in a lowly manger.  WHY?  He was born to die on the Cross of Calvary to redeem us from our sin.  He cared SO much, and it is an honor to be His messengers to bring the glorious message of the Gospel to others!   Recently, we went to a “Walk Through Bethlehem” presentation.  It had horse-drawn wagons that could pull approximately 20 people in a large wagon.  Jill commented on how strong the horses were. Sofia responded, “I know!  With all of us people put together, they are probably pulling like….100 pounds!!”  It was a precious moment that we all giggled about.  Even the Amish man guiding the horses, laughed.

We love getting reports from missionaries we ship our Gospel Tracts to.  One was from Honduras.  As this dear missionary family passed out the Spanish Smiley tracts they said, “Here is a smile for you because God loves you”.  One man responded, “Thank You.  That is what I needed today.  I was missing my smile”.  Also, from missionaries in the Canary Islands who recently messaged us to let us know that three people received Christ after reading the Smiley Tract.  Their names are – Aroa, Maria, and yRuben.  We LOVE receiving these reports and it blesses our hearts through and through.

We love and appreciate you all and hope you have a VERY Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

Jill’s Mom had a LIFE THREATENING Brain Bleed (Aneurysm)! Please Pray! – Aug. 2022

I got the call 1 day after we had been with my parents over the 4th of July weekend…..

May be an image of 1 person and indoor

My parents live on my sister Amy’s property and we had just been there over the 4th of July weekend helping them get some projects done on their new house.  They had recently moved to my (quadriplegic) sister Amy’s and husband Kevin’s house to be a support and encouragement to them in anyway they could.  Amy called me late at night and began to
sadly explain that my Daddy had called down to their house in a panic saying, “Mommy’s having a stroke!  Mommy’s having a stroke!”  My Mom had all of the sudden slumped over to my Dad and her left arm had begun to violently shake.  He knew something was desperately wrong and he immediately called 9-1-1.  Once at the hospital, they determined that my mom had suffered a massive aneurysm.  The prognosis did not look good and my parents’ Pastor was called in so that my Dad would not be alone during a time we thought we would lose her.  No one in WV would attempt surgery on my Mom, but a surgeon in Ohio said he would.  So, she was painstakingly transferred and they put a drainage port in her head to start to drain the blood.  The next afternoon, they did surgery to seal off the point of her aneurysm.

The next few weeks were heartbreaking as we watched my Mom go through SO much grueling recovery at the ICU of the hospital and now at a therapy hospital.  My sisters and I, (along with my aunts and some close friends) all took turns at being at the hospital with my parents.  It has not been easy for my sweet Dad and he has been at my Mom’s side nearly every day.   With such a bad brain bleed at my mom’s age, it is going to take awhile to tell what the full extent of the damage will be.  She remembers all of our names and lots of details of life, but she still requires full care and struggles with the simplest daily functions.  They say that six months will tell a LOT of how well she will recover.  Please pray with us that she will have a FULL recovery!

Due to all of this, my Daddy has had to quit his job to become my Mom’s full time care giver.  My Mom is scheduled to go home on August 31st.  In all honesty, my parents were not quite at a point financially where my Dad was able to retire, yet he is forced into retirement (which he is gladly doing for the sake of my precious mom).  So much money has been spent on co-pays, traveling back and forth, gas, etc.

With that said, we set up a Go Fund Me account to help my parents.  If you have not yet heard of this trial and would feel the Lord impressing on you to give to help them through this difficult time, we would be so grateful.  The link is here –  https://gofund.me/2030f572

You can follow the entire story / journey in detail on our FB page – David Jill Noyes Rodrigues or on my Dad’s FB page at – Timothy Noyes.

Our faith is (as always) what has pulled us through such a difficult, heart-wrenching and sorrowful time.  Yet, we are SO grateful that my sweet Mom is still with us.  She is such a kind and courteous patient to all of the nurses here at the hospital.  We all love her SO much!!

We will leave you all with these verses.  II Timothy 1:12 ” “For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.”
II Corinthians 12:9 ” And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

God bless you all and thank you for caring about our lives.  We love you all.
-Jill Rodrigues for us all
