Another church that we visited. They were a great blessing to our family.

Our family visited MANY churches and DEAR people during our trip to NY. One of the churches that we visited that is filled with dear friends was Bible Baptist Fellowship (Pastor Bruce Varner) in Alpine, NY. Unfortunately, our tired brains often forgot to bring the camera with us and take pictures. If we left anyone out…..please know that it was NOT on purpose and we love you all!!!

During this Christmas season, our family wants to wish you all a very Merry Christmas!! A HUGE thank you to all the dear folks who helped to make our Christmas extra special this year! We love you all!

Little SADIE PATRICIA RODRIGUES was born to David & Jill on Wednesday – November 27th at 4:11pm (or 16:11 military time – neat for us KJV believers……smile) . We are so thankful to God for sending us our 11th healthy child!! She weighed 7 lbs. 5 oz. and was 21 inches long. She is a VERY good baby and is doing great nursing! WE LOVE YOU, Sadie!! Love, Daddy & Mommy and 10 adoring brothers and sisters……..smile.

Patricia is my (Jill’s) Mom’s first name. Sadie’s middle name is Patricia as an honor to my Mom. My Mom cried when she heard what Sadie’s full name was.

Pastor Bartlett (our Pastor) and Pastor VanHorn (another dear Pastor in the area) came to our property to hunt when Sadie was only 3 days old. They came inside after their hunt to see little Sadie. Special!

Jill’s Extended Family got together at David & Jill’s House on November 9th for an early Thanksgiving Feast. They had it early because Jill’s due date being so close to Thanksgiving Day. It was a wonderful day of fellowship!!

The adults and a few of the children ate in the dining room and the rest of the children were scattered in the kitchen and living room to eat. Praise God for His Goodness. We all enjoyed the feast that day!! It was a full house with 10 adults and 25 grandchildren!!!

Jill’s sweet parents made the day extra fun by planning a bunch of fun games for the adults to play and then the children to play. We had a blast!!

David & Jill so enjoyed the time to visit with family. It was a great time to “catch up”.

The Rodrigues Family had the honor of being at 2 meetings with Evangelist Ed Carter (Death Unto Life Ministries). He is one of the survivors of the Marshall “Football Team -from West Virginia- Plane Crash back in 1970’s. God spared his life due to him NOT being on the plane that day. He now uses his testimony around the world and spreads the Gospel of Jesus Christ!!

Our son Phillip was THRILLED to hear that Brother Carter is a “Dallas Cowboys” fan also!! Since the rest of our family are “Washington Redskins” fans!!

David & Jill were invited to the Stonewall Jackson Resort for a Sunday School Class activity at our church. We did the singing. It was an enjoyable evening and the resort was beautiful!!

First, at the resort, we went on an hour boat cruise. That is when we did the singing. After that, we went into the beautiful resort for a delicious dinner.

The evening at the resort started off an enjoyable 16th anniversary get-away for David & Jill. We left from the resort and spent the rest of our time in Lancaster, Pa. We enjoyed the slow pace of life among the Amish people and also enjoyed watching the awesome production of “NOAH” at the Sight and Sound theater.

The weekend after our get-away, we had a meeting at Sylvania Hills Baptist Church. Pastor Bailey and his sweet wife Cindy and the dear congregation have become very precious to our family.

The children enjoyed a hay-ride while we were at the Bailey’s Church for their “harvest night”.

The Sunday that we were at Sylavnia Hills, they had “Old Fashioned” Sunday. Our family enjoyed attempting to dress old fashioned. The children really enjoyed that.

We came home from PA and were here for about 3 days. Then, we headed out to Shepardsville, Kentucky to Lighthouse Baptist Church with Pastor Jordan and his dear wife Missy. They have a loving church and we were there for their “Missions Conference”. We enjoyed the fellowship with them all.  There church was SUCH a blessing to our family!!!

At Lighthouse Baptist Church there is a devoted police officer that attends there. It was an honor for the children to meet him!

Our family was so honored to be formally invited to Erin Bates’ Wedding on November 2, 2013!! We went and really enjoyed getting to know the Bates Family and Duggar Family better! God was good and while we were there in Tennessee we were also able to get a meeting at a good church. It was a weekend that was special and will not soon be forgotten.

For the wedding day, our family was all dressed in red and black.

This is a picture of Zach Bates (the oldest Bates son) who is engaged to be married to Whitney on December 14th, 2013. They can’t wait for their special day too! I do not think we will be able to make it that special day though due to our baby being due only shortly before that!!

At the wedding it was an honor to meet Bill Gothard.

It was also a HUGE honor to meet “Patch the Pirate” (Ron Hamilton) and his dear wife Shelly at the wedding. Shelly Hamilton played the piano for the prelude to the wedding.

This is the hand-made “rag quilt” that I made for the new happy couple……smile.

At the Bates’ Church the next day, we enjoyed more “one on one” time with these 2 dear families and many other sweet Christian people. God was (and is always) sooo Good to us!!!

Our Family took part in the Clendenin, WV Fall Parade on 9-28-13. It was such a blessing to be a testimony for Christ. We passed out 100’s of Gospel Tracts, threw out candy and had our family’s music playing while being a part of the parade. Through this effort, we pray that souls will be saved.

Our precious Hannah turned 5 years old on September 30th. A few days later, she asked the Lord Jesus into her heart to save her. How we rejoice! She is such a blessing in our home. She enjoyed the little “Hello Kitty” Birthday party that we put on for her.

The girls were trying to pop the balloons by sitting very hard on them. Nurie was having a little trouble…….Smile.

Two months and counting before our precious baby is born. We eagerly await that day. Our children are such a blessing from God.

Our family was asked to be a part of the Shar-a-thon at WVGV 89.7 in West Union, WV with Evangelist Oliver Araiza. It was such an honor and God was good in helping them to raise the funds they need to stay on the air for another six months. Praise be to His Name!

We do not go to water slides at amusement parks with our children due to the immodest dress. Our children were thrilled when the staff at Mt. Salem offered for our family to come for a day to have the water slide to ourselves!!

Victory Baptist Church brought a group to Gleaning for Christ Missions print shop to help for a day and a half assembling books of John in French. They were a blessing and we enjoyed the fellowship with them.
